Showing well is hard enough without trying to do it with a lead that isn’t as good as it could be. The Zephyr Show lead is longer (6 feet) than the typical show lead and features the lightweight hook without a swivel that supports giving subtle and specific cues to the animal about his balance and gait. All colors are double-sewn nylon, high quality and match the halters.
* Please note that the brass hook is appropriately strong and serviceable for the purpose of training but is NOT intended for restraint of any kind or for tying difficult or untrained animals.

This lead is composed of 28 inches of hand-spliced nylon rope connected to 88 inches of flat nylon lead. The rope’s total length is 9.5 feet, allowing the handler to use a variety of leading techniques. The weight of the rope end helps to provide a connection with the handler, and the wider flat nylon is perfect for giving refined signals.
* Please note that the brass hook is appropriately strong and serviceable for the purpose of training, but is NOT intended for restraint of any kind or for tying difficult or untrained animals.

The Ultimate lead is the same great design as the training lead, with one really important added feature: an 8-foot extension that attaches with a lightweight fastex buckle. This extension can be disconnected and stowed when it isn’t needed. Marty invented the ultimate lead as a tool for teaching young animals to lead and to protect the handler’s arm and shoulder when leading green animals in new situations where they might spook and bolt. When used in a long, narrow lane way, the Ultimate lead makes short work of teaching a youngster to lead and all but eliminates the tendency of young animals to kush when learning to lead.
* Please note that the brass hook is appropriately strong and serviceable for the purpose of training, but is NOT intended for restraint of any kind or for tying difficult or untrained animals.

This is a less expensive tool for casual leading. It features the non swivel lightweight hook and wide flat nylon for effective signaling. The Zephyr lead is long enough (8 feet) to offer some distance to animals that become frightened and want a bit more distance from the handler.
* Please note that the brass hook is appropriately strong and servicable for the purpose of training but is NOT intended for restraint of any kind or for tying difficult or untrained animals.
We now have pink! Matches the new pink alpaca halter!
