I'm a brand-new alpaca owner eagerly trying to absorb and practice as much as possible of Marty's methods with the help of the book and DVD's, and I'm planning to attend a clinic as soon as I can. Meanwhile, a clinic for horses is going to be held soon at my local university. Now, I know *nothing* about horses, but my question is: Would attending this clinic be helpful to me as I work with my alpacas? Thinking that I would learn principles and practices that are applicable to any animal, even if my particular species is not being worked on. Opinions? (Thanks!) Caroline Wolstenholme Dragoon, AZ
