TTouch Cell-ebration

I have just returned from an incredible gathering of amazingly talented animal handlers. Linda Tellington–Jones' 30–Year Cellebration was not only a tribute to her years of service to all animals but an amazing educational opportunity. It was well organized, fun and inspiring. The Cellebration was held in conjunction with the annual Advanced Training for TTouch Instructors and Practitioners, for both horses and companion animals together. A tremendous amount of cross fertilization occurred. I was able to do a one–hour demo on alpacas and presented the top 10 questions about alpacas and llamas.

Over 100 people attended the Advanced Training with an additional 40–50 joining in for the Cellebration. A much more complete report, including some important new elements that affect the work with camelids, will be included in the next issue of the Guild eNews (out soon). The event was a huge success and will be held again in two years. The TTEAM & TTouch principles that Linda so elegantly teaches apply to all animals and cross training is such a valuable training tool. Using the TTouch with your dog or your horse not only makes you a better dog and horse handler, but a better camelid handler!
