In April 2005 while at MAPACA I attended Marty's free demonstration of Camelidynamics and was thrilled to see that there was a better and easier way to interact with my alpacas than what other breeders had taught me. I immediately got online and found that the next 2-day basics clinic was in Pennsylvania, not far from home, the next month and happened to be taking place on my birthday. So I gave myself the gift that keeps on giving.
When I returned home and my most difficult and intimidating alpaca transformed into a lovely creature with these respectful techniques I knew I had found the direction I needed to coexist with my little herd of alpacas. That August I attended my first Advanced clinic in Bend and the rest is history. Fast forward a few years and several clinics, I now find it extremely rewarding to pass Camelidynamics on to others."
