Zephyr Training Lead $19.00
This is our original, signature lead with a new name. The 9-foot Zephyr Training Lead features 21 inches of high quality nylon rope spliced to 88 inches of flat, soft, nylon lead. The rope end allows you to use the lead for a variety of tasks as well as making the lead lighter and less visually obvious when attached to the side nose band ring on the halter.
A lightweight but strong brass clip is hand-spliced into the rope, making a smooth, very lightweight lead. Zephyr leads do NOT have a swivel. Swivels create a disconnect between your and your animal and make it much harder to use the lead to make important changes in your animals balance. This is particularly important when you are working up close as in the show ring.
*PLEASE NOTE: The lightweight brass boat hook clip on our leads is not intended for use in tying difficult or untrained animals, for use in a restraint device or for restraint of any kind. The clip will break under that kind of strain. Our leads are designed primarily for refined leading.
