Stony Ridge Alpacas
 |
Stonyridge Alpacas is located in the rolling foothills just south of Portland Oregon. We are a small farm run by Wayne and Linda Buttolph, and we enjoy sharing experiences and lessons we've learned in the growing alpaca industry. We offer for sale youngsters, proven bred females, stud services, and potential junior herdsires for new breeders, and established breeders wishing to diversify bloodlines. Linda is a Camelidynamics Practitioner and offers private training for a variety of students.
Our herd focus is on producing show quality huacaya alpacas in black, grey, and fawn with our emphasis on correct conformation and consistent fleece traits for fineness, brightness, density, and independent locks. Temperaments factor into our breeding selections, and we exclusively use Camelidynamics handling methods in our daily routines. As a result our animals are easy to work with, and a pleasure to interact with.

High Desert Alpacas

At High Desert Alpacas we not only breed for alpacas with great conformation and fiber, but disposition also. We take it a step further by using Camelidynamics to allow our animals to develop their own personalities while learning to get along with us humans comfortably. Although all of them can be at ease in the show ring many of them enjoy day hikes, long walks, and are willing to carry your lunch and water in a pack. We are a full service farm and offer 24/7 answers to any questions you may have. We believe our 'service after sale' to be second to none.
