camelidynamics handler seal

What is the Camelidynamics Handler Seal?

Handling animals well is not something humans are born knowing how to do. It is not just a matter of being stronger than an alpaca or a llama. It is not about force. It is an art. Handling is something a person gets better at when they learn specific techniques and then practice them.

The bearer of this seal has gone the extra mile to learn safe, respectful and effective handling and training techniques for camelids. Camelidynamics handlers have attended not only a two-day training clinic but have attended at least one four-day advanced training at the Camelidynamics Training Center in Bend Oregon. They have participated in a rigorous program of instruction that includes lots of practice, video evaluation and more practice. Marty McGee Bennett, personally evaluates each applicant.

Why should I look for the Seal?

If you are shopping for a veterinarian, a transporter or a shearer this seal will mean you can rest easy. Your animals are in good hands when you choose a qualified Camelidynamics Handler.

Camelidynamics Handlers have learned how to use the principals of balance and leverage to work with animals. They have studied the Tellington-TTouch and understand how to calm a frightened animal. They have learned more effective and less stressful ways of trimming toenails, giving injections, teaching animals to accept a halter and to how to lead. They know how important halter fit is and they will pay attention to it.

Are you looking for someone to show your animals for you?
Look for the seal and you will know that the person you hand the lead rope to is more than qualified to show your animal to it's best advantage.

Are you looking for a ranch hand or a trainer?
Camelidynamics Handlers will be an asset to your operation. They have learned how to work with animals in a way that is not only efficient but kind.

Why should I look for the Camelidynamic Handler Seal when shopping for alpacas and llamas?

When it comes to purchasing animals there is more to your satisfaction than a sound and healthy animal. The way your animal is handled is important especially if you are new to the world of alpacas. You want animals that are healthy and cooperative. When llamas and alpacas are handled badly they learn to behave badly.

Look for the Camelidynamics Handler seal when you shop for animals and you will know that the breeder is using sensible handling techniques that contribute to not only the physical but mental well being of the animal. They are also breeders that you can feel confident will serve as wonderful mentors as you get started with your new business venture. They can offer sound advice on not only animal handling but barn design and management techniques.
